Please
try to come on time for your appointment. This helps
Dr. Glasser stay on time to minimize wait times for
everyone. If you are going to be unable to make it to
your appointment please call to cancel. If you are going
to be more than 30 minutes late for an appointment and
do not notify us, there is a good chance you will be
asked to reschedule.
If you are a new patient or if your
insurance has changed since the last time you were in,
please notify the person making the appointment so they
can confirm whether your insurance will be accepted
or put you in touch with someone who can.
Please remember to bring your child’s
immunization card and any forms that the doctor needs
to fill out with you to your appointment. Especially
for Well Child Physicals, Dr. Glasser asks that you
come prepared with a written list of questions.
For kids 2 years old and above, Dr.
Glasser will not be able to give any immunizations or
fill out any school, day care, sports, or camp forms
if your child has not had a Well Child Physical within
1 year. Sick visits do not count as Well Child Physicals.
You will have to make an appointment for a Well Child
Physical with her first.
The standard American Academy of Pediatrics
schedule of Well Child Physicals is as follows:
1-2 days after discharge from the
hospital as a newborn
2 weeks of age
2 months of age
4 months of age
6 months of age
9 months of age
12 months of age
15 months of age
18 months of age
2 years of age
Annually after that
Dr. Glasser is a firm believer in
immunizing children fully and on time. You can always
count on her to know and keep up with the very latest
immunization recommendations.
